Weird. They are obviously military, but they weapons have A1 uppers with what appear to be M4 barrels. They also appear to be carrying M9s as sidearms. Any guesses on who these guys are?

I think they are regular KAC RAS system painted Camo like the rest of their weapon.

The USAF especially still employs these weapons which can be very old. The USAF designation for the XM-177 is the GAU-5 and i think these are the GAU-5s which have had their barrels changed to the 14.5" M4 barrel.

It is the safety for the M203 launcher. Because it directly blocks the trigger you can tell quite readily by touch that the safety is on, even with thick gloves on. A no brainer design.
