Damn. Gotta change my insurance carrier now!
For all of my conservative friend and others that need to know the truth. The UGLY truth behind those PROGRESSIVE insurance ads... EGADS!! Hope you don't have PROGRESSIVE Insurance, or you are funding the socialist left and ACLU activities/actions without knowing it!! Peter Lewis, the CEO of Progressive, who took it over from his father, has made all these donations. Interesting story. And those TV ads make the company seem sooooo innocuous with all that white...pays to know what is behind those ad colors and words and such.... This was an eye-opener, and I almost just deleted the Snopes email today! See the Snope article! |

Quoted: I thought this was common knowledge? I think the company name is a dead giveaway. |

I have Progressive Insurance. I'd heard he was a liberal, but that alone isn't enough to make the switch.
This is. I'll be getting quotes starting tomorrow. |

I learned of this 3 years ago and switched then. Sent them a nasty letter explaining why.
I was rewarded with finding a cheaper quote |
|
Quoted: Hmmmm..... Well, I have USAA same here. had them since the day I started driving. |

Quoted:
I gotta switch. What about Gieco? Owned by berkshire hathaway / warren buffet. Certainly a capitalist but also an obama supporter. |

Quoted:
I gotta switch. What about Gieco? Pulled all their advertisements from Glenn Beck's show, in response to a libtard "Boycott Beck" campaign. |
|
Duh, they have gays on their commercials, rainbows, the name "Progressive",
|
|
I have a 2007 Harley that was insured by Progressive. It is now sitting the garage with just 2000 miles on it just rotting away as both Harley and progressive have gone nuts.
|
|
OMG! Billionaires with political opinions and who donate accordingly! According to liberals, this is pure evil!

Quoted: Quoted: Hmmmm..... Well, I have USAA same here. had them since the day I started driving. I've been on USAA for auto forever and for my house when I moved to MT. Called them for bike insurance and they sent me to Progressive. Since riding season is nearing an end up here, I'm going to let my Progressive drop on the bike at the end of the month. Anyone got an idea for a company (besides GEICO) that will do motorcycles? |

I gotta switch. What about Gieco? Government Employee Insurance COmpany Need I say more... |

I'll stick with State Farm myself, although I'm sure they have crap going on too

Moreover, anyone who bases their insurance buying decisions on who the CEO is (even though Lewis isn't the CEO anyway) is an idiot. You think you're hurting a guy who is already one of the richest 500 Americans? You're not. You're hurting the $12/hour average Joe who answers the phones. |

Fuck progressive, and not just for their liberal views.
I have nothing but COC violations to say about that company. |
|
Quoted: Hmmmm..... Well, I have USAA Same here. Customer loyalty is important to me. They insured me years ago at a time when no one else would even take me seriously. Even if someone gave me a better quote, I still wouldn't switch. |

Quoted:
Hmmmm..... Well, I have USAA Me too... but they started offering motorcycle insurance, which is provided through..... Progressive. I currently have the bike insured through Geico. Got a quote from Progressive, and it was a little lower... |
|
USAA sent me to Progressive for my motorcycle insurence. 1st I called Gieco and they wanted $2,500 for 2 harleys. Progressive wanted $600.

21st Century has some kind of deal with the NRA. You might want to call them (21st) for a quote.

if you live in the Cleveland area you know someone who works for progressive, even though I am unemployed I would not accept a job offer from them. The whole place is a liberal shrine. with CNN on every TV and support for progressive causes.
I had a friend that did some house painting for Peter Lewis in the 90's and as you would expect peter lewis is a nut job insane liberal |

I had a friend that did some house painting for Peter Lewis in the 90's and as you would expect peter lewis is a nut job insane liberal I know quite a few Progressive folks up there in Mayfield Village. They are like a lot of insurance companies in their policies and HR type programs so I won't fault them there. They do spend a lot of money on things I find ridiculous but then again I work for a small company that can't drop that kind of coin on employee golf leagues. I've never gotten a good price quote from Flo but even the people I know who work for Progressive don't necessarily use them. I also know the same for Sate Farm (they own Bloomington, IL) and a few folks who work there and remotely here in PA. |
|
I had Geico but dropped them when they showed up on the NRA's list of anti-RKBA companies. A Geico rep called me a few days later to ask why I'd switched. When I explained the corporate donation to HCI/VPC, he literally said "Well, why would anyone need to own a semi-automatic assault weapon anyway?"
Look at Nationwide and Erie. Both have been good to me in the past. |

Been with USAA for 42 years now since I got my commission as a USAF Lt.

The name of the company is PROGRESSIVE, what in the flying blue fuck did you THINK they are promoting? I suppose you were snookered by Hope & Change too. |

Didn't realize that progressive was so well.... progressive, tried to get a quote from USAA and was told I'm not eligible and they recommended i try progressive
|
|
Well looks like I'll be moving the RV policy away from them. Only thing I have with them at the moment.
|
|
I've been wanting to drop Progressive for some time now but no one else is able to offer the exact same level of coverage. I don't care if All State or Nationwide can save me a few buck on the policy if that means losing coverage and having to pay a higher deductible when SHTF.

If you are in Texas andare employed in the field of agriculture, family consumer science or veterinary medicine, do yourself a favor and get a quote from Agricultural Workers Mutual

Had Progressive, just switched to Farm Bureau and saved 60 bucks a month.

Hmmmm..... Well, I have USAA They really hold up their end of the bargain imo. A lady hit me the other day (her fault) in my opinion they really went above and beyond. It was a minor fender bender but they had enterprise rent a car pick me up towed my truck to the Ford dealership that I chose and came through with their adjuster almost immediately. The entire ordeal was really easy. |

USAA is the defenition of customer service. Fantastic outfit.
