I've got a discrete maxpedition case for my long gun. I need something for support gear (cleaning equipment, .22 conversion kits, extra mags for both, etc).

A good size paramedic's kit bag, blue with the medical logos in reflective white tape.   I find it to be oddly inappropriate

to be hauling a shitload of loaded mags around in it,  so that's why I do it.   It also happens to have some very nicely

shaped and sized pockets that my mags fit in very nicely.

Eberlestock gunslinger backpack or a small bag from La police gear.

I try yo use te small bag for IDPA matches.  I hate hauling around more gear than I have to.

For 3-gun matches I just show up knowing I'm gonna have to haul a metric shit ton of crap around.

ETA my small bag is the one mentioned below.  Its big enough to carry what you need and small enough to keep you from carrying a bunch of heavy crap you dont.

Wal-Mart checkout bags.

Use a cheap hardside pistol case for supplies and a VooDoo Tact double rifle case for hardware.

not my pic but same color and model.
I have a range minivan, I pull it around to the ******** (OPSEC) and back around the the pistol range (backyard), then to the carbine range(side yard), and then to the longrange (front yard)...

I'm from the country and I like it that way

I have a few Midway USA bags and a padded pistol range bag from ?Bulldog?, but the van gets more use. I keep targets, stands, tape, ears, eyes and the van subs as a covert varmint recon unit.

I have a Browning bag I picked up in the fishing department at Bass Pro.  It had some plastic trays in it for fishing tackle, but they pulled right out.  The main compartment is pretty good size - I can fit my front rest and rear bag, a flip-top of .308, a pistol case or two, and other miscellaneous stuff in there.  Plus it has a couple external pockets which are good for stuff like ammo, mags, small tools, ears, etc.  The lid flap even has a special little spot for your shooting glasses with a hard cover for protection.

I think it is similar to the Browning Fishing 360 Tackle Bag they sell today, but I bought it several years ago so there are probably some differences.

I have a similar bag from them, without the fancy mechanism on the mouth.

none of the designated range bags had enough room without costing too much money for me.  I picked up a bagmaster for way too much because i read the price tag on the wrong bag.  it's capable of four guns and lots of mags, but leaves no room for other miscellany.  the tool bag works best.  I also use one for flyfishing tackle.

There it is. I've had mine for about 4 years now and I love it.  It would be a steal at anything under $100, but at $40 its a must buy.

Maxpedition Condor II for USPSA and IDPA matches.  CED range bag for backup stuff and 3-gun.  Generic soft double rifle case and/or Pelican 1750 for bringing rifle/shotgun to 3-gun matches.  For practice sessions I just toss my tape, stapler, etc. in a bucket and grab my range bag for what I'm practicing.  Bucket doubles as a place to throw brass I pickup at the range.

I use an Eddie Bauer back pack I've had since 2001. It has three compartments and a few pockets. Works well enough to carry ammo and pistols. Gets a tad heavy quickly  but it works great so far.

Pretty much this and only this. For the rifle, a lockable hard case I leave in the car, but so the cops know I'm heading to/from the range (b/c I live by an elementary school).  I used to bring a small pail to collect the brass, but lately its been steel cased.

This is funny, as I have a large Prince tennis bag, which is day-glo pink with blue trim.  It's square in shape, holds a lot of crap and quite robust.  My dad got my brother and I one when I was back in high school and both are still in use.  My dad now has the blue one and stores his guns in it.

I'm almost 49 and it's been hauling spent brass, chronographs, ammo, cleaning kits and pistols for me for a good 15 years.

I'll miss it when it's gone.

Chris

This –– they were out of stock, recently back and now out again.

Nice to configure the outside mag pouches on MOLLE however you want it arranged.

Very strong and good quality for a great price.  Strap is strong as well –– I load it up and am good to go.

A 5.11 (or other) gas mask pouch works well for ears on the sides.  Handcuff pouch for mag loader, etc.  LAPG had a bunch of 5.11 pouches dirt cheap on clearance at the same time I got the bag.

Will have to post pics of it built out.

Bagmaster Pro-Shooter's Bag Large Deluxe in Black.

http://www.bagmaster.com/cart/products/328/Pro-Shooter%27s%20Bag%20Large%20Deluxe.htm

Bought in 10 years ago and the only complaint I have is I keep losing the little leather grabbers that attach to the zippers.

It's not cheap but it's made in the USA and to me, it's worth the extra premium.
