I wouldn't be too surprised. It accomplished the major objectives nicely in getting people to borrow more money, increase bank profits and increase the "velocity of money"
It was also relatively cheap compared to other stimulus. I wouldn't be surprised to see another CFC or Home buyer credit or both. |
