That's a Mac Pro. Even the craziest Apple fanboys will gladly admit that it is overpriced. If price was the ONLY difference, it would be a great point. Not everyone shares the same level of price sensitivity.

I learned that Apple was overpriced years ago, I abandoned Mac in 1996, have rolled my own PCs since then and never looked back.
But it's a free market (until Obama decides to regulate that, too). However I cannot abide a proprietary machine. |

I hate the legions of iLemmings who buy every fucking gadget I hate those fucking commercials - and the actors who are in them I hate that it's overpriced I hate that I actually like a few of their products (but am too cheap to buy them) I really, really fucking hate the hippies that run that place and their uber liberal "green" bullshit - while they outsource to China. But I admit that they work well for what they are and are EXCEPTIONALLY good at advertising. So, don't buy it. Laugh at those who do. Yay! |

That goes for PC or Mac. Memory requires ECC, which costs more. PC or Mac. Highest RATED card on newegg is $300.00. Not the BEST raid card on newegg. Again, applies to both PC and Mac. Hard drives. Doesn't say, but is Apple using enterprise grade HDDS? Would explain price increase. Putting a GT120 in it would be retarded. I'll give him that. Yes, 6" of additional display is worth every penny. The 30" Apple display in not a joke. It is top notch. |
