A little earlier I bounced back and forth between posting/reading ARFCOM and putting a scope on another guy's rifle. Man is it sweet--brand new OLY PCR-1. It is their top-of-the-line with Williams set trigger--1 lb. when set! Ultra-match bbl.--stainless, broach cut, air-gauged, very nice, tends to be very accurate. We chose IOR-Valdada HD Tactical Rings, and topped it with a Leupold Vari-X III, 4.5-14X, 50 MM AO scope, with Butler Creeks. Fine reticle on the scope. Very, very nice. Nearly $1900, so a little pricey for a post-ban. Oh, his twist is 1/8. He takes delivery and works at breaking in the bbl. this weekend at my farm in Missouri. He wants to shoot my .50 BMG too, so I bet he'll be buying another expensive one soon! [}:D]
P.S. I'm about half sick from breathing the brake cleaner fumes from degreasing the rings. Too bad you can't use Hoppe's #9 for that. I love its smell. It just says "gun."
