I gotta WASR-10(SAR-1)in 7.62x39 and it was cheap and is a blast to shoot.[:D] Of course it looks like it was hammered together by 12 year olds using a rock (probably was!) and the stock was varnished using a stick to smooth it out but it does shoot like a house afire! AK's are known for that!

I'd have to vote for the M17S, but then again it's the favorite of my guns. But than again mine has been apart more than it's been together since I got it because I wanted modifications. I always wan't to be different and sometimes it costs ya. But I still love it. 21.5" barrel and 30" OAL. Can't beat it.

I think that it would be helpful to know why you've limited your next purchase down to these. Is it fair to assume that you've got all the "staples" already?
