I just finished building my gun room. Now, how do I keep 100 sq ft dry? This ? Are there better options?

I'd go with a big bucket of DampRid. Works well.

More details.
Is it in a basement or above grade? Did you build this in an existing house or is it new construction? What are the walls made of? Is there a ceiling? What is the ceiling? Where are you located? What is being used in the rest of the house to heat/cool? |

Not enough info.
I would use an actual electric dehumidifier if I needed to manage a space larger than a safe or closet. |

First, buy a hygrometer. Walmart has them for not much $.
Then, find out what the optimum humidity is for firearms. Too humid, stuff rusts. Too dry, wood cracks. I'd start with 50% as a baseline. If it's too dry, get a humidifier. If it's too humid, get a dehumidifier. I'd put in an incandescent bulb near the floor to help circulate the air if you aren't using a dehumidifier and choose some type of desiccant like Damp-Rid. |

Move to California.
 Normal humidity is about 30% year round inside my house. Great for guns not so good for cigars.

You want to maintain humidity around 35-40%, so get get a gauge installed in the room (and go from there).

It is brick and gypsum siding on the house half and insulated OSB built on top of a short cinder block wall. The ceiling isn't insulated yet and is connected to the soffit around the house. I am in Mississippi, so the humidity is rather high. Hygrometer is inbound. |
