I have a degree in economics and am halfway through a masters in risk management. I work as a firefighter and landscaper.
When I graduated almost 2 years ago it didn't take long for me to realize how necessary grad school was if you want an interesting job (I just was't ready to sit in a cube as a junior insurance claims adjuster). If you're a serious student, find a grad school and suck it up for another 18 months. It'll open a lot more doors. |

Didn't graduate as an econ major but my buddy did. He then got a masters in econ and is a professor at a community college (he is 25).
