Their mascot is a big white fat guy. Gee the *Indian* mascots make it appear that whoever chose that mascot chose it out of admiration for the Indian "warrior spirit" or something along those lines. Not because Indians are fat, lazy alcoholics, who sit idle on the Res dependent on government handouts. I am not saying all Indians do this. But to use Indians' "good points" for a mascot, versus Indians using some whatever bad point or cliche for their "whitey" mascot? What's up with that, other than they are deliberately trying to offend? Who cares? I ain't offended, they're going to have to try harder. Gooooooooo Whiteys! Or Whities! Or Whatevers! |

How come when I first read this I thought "white supremist" article and was being prepared to be embarrassed to be white, but when I read the whole thing I think it's cute and want a jersey?
Also I think we should declare all treaties with the Native Americans null and void and start the wars over again and accept nothing but unconditional surrender.
