I know wheeling photos never do obstacles justice, but how did that happen?
That's not a roll over, he just flopped on the side.
I'm sure its fine, anyone wheeling in a brand new vehicle has plenty of disposable income to deal with such exigencies. |

why sad? tip it over and move the fuck on. At least it won't look like a pristine bitch wagon. My truck is dented to fuck.
ooops! 4Runners are great vehicles but generally best when on all 4 wheels. That's gonna hurt the old pocketbook I suspect

View Quote Probably went too slow and standing on the brakes when the left front tire dropped off that little ledge, sometimes you've gotta let it roll out a little past the obstacle..Having a tire on the roof didn't help his cog either |
Driver panicked from the off-camber and moved too far towards the uphill side?
On further review, having a second spare tire on the roof isn't a great idea for keeping weight centered down low |
Oh look, another 'wheeler with much more money than experience.
Did the fucking wind blow it over? |
I always wondered if auto insurance would cover something like this?
Looks like there was plenty of room to go nose first down the ledge too instead of across it. Oooops

Probably a ton of accidents reported on the highways near trails that didn't actually happen there. Bummer to see but anybody who wheels/races/does fun things with vehicles should know that if you play with your toys, there is a chance you can break them. |

because thats basically a fire road and I bet you he was going 25 MPH. Slammed on his brakes and tipped off that little step. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |

It isn't dead-kid sad but major repair bill sad. Can't roll over to fix the airbags. I think that is like $5k or more alone, provided you can even get them with the takata recall fiasco https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/239441/IMG_0173_JPG-309631.jpg View Quote |

Should have stuck to being just another mall crawler who threw lots of money into it to tell people he's a overlander

That is a very heavy spare tire at the very top of the truck. I prefer low gravity builds with a lot of skid plates.
Why do people think putting a 90lbs spare tire and rim on the roof is helping the center of gravity?
Do rock crawlers ever put water in the tires like a farm tractor? That lowers cog.

Weird my taco had an option to turn off the side curtain airbags. I think it specifically said if offroading and going on inclines turn them off so they dont fire. Im guessing they fired, scared the shit out of him and he hooked it onto its side View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

ETA: Damage doesn't even look that bad, friggin airbags and parts broken by the airbags will probably be the most expensive part to fix. Might even be a write off if the seat airbags fired too (new replacement OEM seats are stupid expensive) Also, the pic of it back up on the wheels shows the area to be a lot steeper then the first pics. I can see how he flopped it there. Off camber, one tire in a hole, tap the brakes, ass end lifts and over she goes. |

Ugh. No good.
I have a buddy with a 14 Rubicon. Bought it new, put 8K worth of widgets on it and clipped a tree going through the trails. Front fell off, frame damage, etc. It's not my money, but I struggle trying to understand the rationale someone would use to buy a $40,000+ vehicle, add 5-10K worth of bolt ons and take take a chance trashing it like that all while you are paying $700ish a month on it. That being said, I really, really want a new 4 runner with 10K worth of bullshit bolted to it. |

Hard to tell for sure but looks like the driver ran out of skill.

I used to have a 80's Suzuki samurai i think they like laying on their side.
Hell everyone that used them off road had roll over stickers on them and lots of dents on the sides. |
