Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - I want my old username back

Back a few months ago, it seems the site was having problems and I, too, had my problems getting signed in. Consequently, I ended up reversing my original and preferred username. Now when I try to fix it, it says that that account is already in use. Help.
