Just for reference - where would you recommend sending ETA movement based watch for servicing?

For example a basic overhaul and legit waterproof / pressure testing?

Brand, model?  I know an ETA is an ETA but cases, gaskets etc are different.

I know a guy that does wonders with Heuer 1000's but don't know if he takes on other projects.

Gaskets are easy. You just need to make sure they can pressure test.  ETA is the standard workhorse movement. Any watchmaker will be very familiar with them

Fin- try this guy.  He's in Louisville KY and redid my Heuer for me recently.  Very happy with the work and price.

Probably can't go wrong with RGM.

If I ever keep one long enough to need a service I'd most likely go with them.

$350 with a 3-6 week turnaround is good.

RGM did some warranty work on one of my Sinn U1's.
I have no complaints, the watch was repaired and returned to me pretty quickly with good communication.
