More than that.

Thats not my stockpile. Its only 769 of freshly made .223. Apart of my 3400 rounds of .223 I have stocked up.

I have alot of ammo of different calibers over 10000 rounds of .22lr mainly for hunting survival. always rotating my stock to use old and keep it fresh. I think in a bugout scenerio I would try to use more silent weapons if possible like this and save guns and the noise and the possible attraction of it to the still living and the dead. I think that blades can be a huge asset  for surving the ZEDs and the wilderness as well. This will be in my bugout gear for sure. If I have ample supplies then I would try to stay put with my main ammo stash.

A huge cache of ammo according to news report definition.

Not enough according to Arfcom.

ETA- Id like to get into reloading as it seems like it could be fun but I haven't started yet.

ETAA- your count is off by about 117, may want to count that again

I think for SHTF and staying put reloading could be a huge benefit. Reloading is a fun hobby and may be very useful for any type of destabilization of our nation from disaster to civil war! A way to feed the toys that we may need to rely on some day to survive!
1)keeping busy helps keep your mind busy and pass time to gain a benefit of more ammo.
2) you can make alot of ammo from very little in supplies.
3) Bullets and the brass are easy to store
All this is reliant to food and water suplies and medical if need be to stay put!  As stated no ammo ever needed for blades just something to hone the blades  to keep em sharp.
I also think that a well made battle rifle with a solid baynet lug and decent bayonet would be usefull as well at somepoint I will either buy or make a bayonet mount for my 870 or mossy 500 I think a shotty would be good to use as well. here are a few stabbers and my main hacker! the weapon is still shootable and yet gives you distance to work over your ZED if it is only one. If more then you still have your boomstick already in hand. I have trouble deciding what one to choose in the bugout time ar or romy-G. I have a few thousand rounds of ammo for both but lugging that amount of ammo May just grab alot of .22LR and 10/22 and mark III, and carry a sword , a warhawk , and kurki. I hope I can manage to stay with my hoard of supplies, but if not then it will be tuff to leave things behind. I think bayos will be the new hot thing when ZEDS are roaming.

I only have .223 and 9mm/45acp to worried about and have a good amount saved up. I also reload and can crank out more if needed to top off until I can get more.. for wherever.

now if only my guns we not in that boating fire I would be safe...

I'm not bugging out anywhere.  I am bugging in until the shit settles down enough to travel.  I am prepared for a 3 to 4 week stay at home.  Then it's Western Kansas and wide open spaces where I can see them coming.

My plan aswell. I would only leave the safety of my home if i absolutely have to. If i do have to leave i have desert 2 miles northeast of me so i'll be heading that way in the 4x4.

Sure they do.  Blades operate on Human energy (and lots of it).  See how well you swing that blade when you haven't eaten in a day or two.

+1

In fact... take your blade and just go find a nice big tree and hack at it for 20 min straight.
See if you can still lift your arm after that.
I'll bet my trigger finger is still good to go after 20 min of shootin.
