I'm thinking of posing it with its little brothers.  The two 66 Deluxe Reverbs.  family portrait style.

OK. I'm not shy.  I am lucky enough to have stumbled on some nice amps over the years.  Here is the "blakface" crew and one of most of the whole family.

Nice collection. What kind of music do you play?

I've got a few amps myself, but not that many. I guess I'll never quit buying them either.

I'm a wanna be BB King/Stevie Ray kinda guy.  And wanna be is the truth.  I got the gear.  I don't got the chops.  But every day is a step forward.

I really do need to cut back on the amps though.  They take up a lot of room.

Beautiful amps man!!!

Thanks.  Buying guitar gear is almost as addicive as gun gear.  Speakig of which, the Fender family is getting a Christmas addition.  A surprise almost

A Blackface Pro Reverb is on the way.  I'll need a new group photo now

My jealousy is unfathomable. This coming from a man that runs a '61 Ampeg Reverberocket and a '67 Bassman.

Thank you thank you

Mmmm 67 bassman goodness.  What are you running it through?  Fender 2x12 or ???

I admit I've never seen a reverberocket.  No idea what they sound like.  But it sounds like a cool idea.  I love the sounds of the 60s.

I've got a Carvin 2x12 that I'm running it through for guitar, and a Traynor 2x15 for bass. The Reverberocket is a 15 watt amp with built in reverb and tremolo. It actually was the first combo amp to have it built in, and 1961 was the first year they made them. I literally found it in the garbage! Once I had a cap job done, it sings!

Why don't I ever find anything cool in the garbage?  Nice score.

I'm biting my nails now on the Pro Reverb I just bought.  I PPed him the money (not gift) on Friday morning.  He emailed me he would ship that day or Saturday latest.  Nothing as of Sat night so Sunday I just email him asking for a tracking number.  No reply.

Today, nothing and I know he has logged into the site he advertised the amp on.  SO he has time to  check out the gear site but not answer email.

I know it is Christmas and all but a simple "shucks I'm so busy I WILL ship tonight" kind of message would be nice.

Another 48 hours and I panic and perhaps cancel with PayPal if I can.

OK, an update with the new baby added and a family photo of blackface Fender goodness.

Here is the new 1966 Pro Reverb I just picked up.  Not a lot different than a Deluxe reverb but bigger.  LOT'S more headroom (as if I needed that).

And the family.  66 Deluxe Reverb, 64 VibroVerb, 66 Pro Reverb, 66 Deluxe Reverb (yeah I know two of them)

And now I AM DONE.  No more guitars or amps.  OK, maybe some pedals or vocal processors but that is IT

So Jealous!!! If I didn't know better, I would think that PR was a reissue!

You really can't have too many Deluxe Reverbs. I've been contemplating trading my Ampeg for a silverface DR, if I can find someone willing.

You're still lacking a certain brand with a gold face.

Yeah, the PR looks pristine.  But if it's a copy they did a darn good job of it.  The back is definitely not a reissue. None of the mandatory safety stickers of the modern era on it.
