Part 3 goes with the F-35A and F-35C "Ugly Ducklings".... I miss the morning sortie of another F-35A on the LF tailcode. ..... I know they are F-35 but these are newer ones ! :woot:

Tail number 5056 was delivered to the 56th Fighter Wing at Luke AFB yesterday. The flagship was flown in by the CG.

Is the lump over the left intake of 5056 for the gun?
If so why doesn't the other 35 have the same thing? Maybe some models don't get guns? |

Yes! thats the gun on the F35A and some of the others do not have a gun like the F35B which uses a Gunpods.... Not too sure on the F35C ! probbaly gunpods also.
