Worst movie I have seen in a long time.  The only way to redeam that movie is if the bad guy ate a bullet in the end.

Pointless....

I liked it.  The ending makes you think in order to figure out what happened.

Joel and Ethan Coen's movies are always a little quirky.

... Yup, it's definitely not for non-thinking movie goers

I understood the movie, but did not understand the hype surrounding it. It was good, but not great.

It was everything I expected it to be, and IMO, it was possibly one of the best movies of the year.

It was a lot more then just a movie with mindless action and shoot scenes.

I like movies that are unpredictable.

Would you have been happier if the main character (AKA the 'good guy') would have killed the 'bad guy', and lived happily ever after with his wife and the money?

(90% of hollywood movies)

I agree with that.  I heard alot of people say it was brilliant and genius...I dunno...

Be careful about saying anything negative about this movie on this forum.  I was called a "kid" and a "Harry Potter worshiper" in another thread just because I said I didn't like it.

I read the book, I don't know if I'll see the movie.

I watched it for the first time this evening,

I don't recall all the hype, when it first came out,

however, I thought it was fantastic,,

Same here pretty dry reading with very little character development. Too many loose ends for me.

I've noticed this pattern as well.  Most people who need everything spelled out for them usually don't like these types of movies.

Once they realize that the movie is about Tommy Lee Jone's character, the not so happy ending makes sense.

The ending wasn't mind-blowing or enigmatic, don't flatter yourselves. It was a really good movie with some great characters & actors though.
