I'm watching executive decision on TNT or something and the airline is OCEANIC.... that is the same as the one on "LOST" right?

I know lost fanatics are alittle insane with clues (the "numbers" are all retired yankees jerseys), and I might be becoming on of them, but ...   Is this simply because the spare plane parts were available?  Or is it more?
