Saw it on Saturday. Movie was pretty good, not like saving private ryan quality, but not bad.

Anyway, after watching the movie, I have no sympathy for the Japs of that time and no remorse for dropping the A-Bomb. It was the right thing to do.

Anyone disagree?

No imagine how you'd feel if they REALLY showed how bad the Japs were...

I agree partially.  SPR was good, but it was essentially a story about one man.  The Great Raid is about a group of people, working together to get the job done.  It was awesome.

How can a post about a movie based on a Historical Event have any spoilers?

Thats like letting us know the Titanic sank

No movie will ever show how bad the enemy is, unless of course America is the enemy and then the left and Hollywood would be all over it.

hahahahaha seriously, it was kinda formulaic although the 15 minutes of action was dead accurate according to the history channel special.

amazing story, regardless. i'm glad some of these hard-chargers are still around to tell the story!

It wasn't a standard action movie.  It was more of a historical re-inactment.  I applaud this sort of film.  I own the Bourne series too, but this has a special place due to its history.

and dupeitydupe de-dupeity derp.

Yes, of course I knew it was a mega-super-culosal-dupe. Put those super research skills to work productively and you just may find a job

Those other links didn't have the A-Bomb, no-remorse aspect, thank you.
