I just watched Quigley last night. There's no known sequel, but there might be a movie similar to it.
Can you remember any details of the movie you're thinking about? |

Yes, Tom Selleck was the star.
He meets another man, perhaps they're partners, but the guy dies while they are traveling aboard a ship. He makes a promise and sets out to fulfill it. He travels to the man's home town and meets up with his widow. He helps re-establish the man's ranch so the wife can make a go of it. The conflict comes because of someone's attempts to "steal the ranch" from the woman (force her to sell). |

That was on the other day. It's not a sequel. Tom Selleck made several western movies.

I know the movie you are talking about. They were shanghaied slaves abroad the ship and over took the ship to escape. Good movie!

Selleck made three westerns for TNT, Monte Walsh, Last stand at Saber River, and Crossfire Trail.
