A buddy of mine has an '04 (that's 98+ no?). Drives well, but feels like you're driving a (big) boat compared to other relatively small cars.

I have a 1998 Honda Accord EX 4dr 4cyl.  It now has 170K miles on it and still runs as well as the day I bought it.  The only options I didn't get on mine were Leather (hey, I'm in AZ), the spoiler, and the V6.  I test drove the V6 and couldn't tell much of a difference.  The added fuel economy was a plus for me, so I went with the 4cyl.  I am religious about oil changes every 3K miles and the ONLY problem (other than normal maint like new tires, brakes, timing belt, etc) I have had was the AC going out @ ~140K miles.  $300 later it was fixed and has been working just fine since.

What questions do you have?

Worked a honda wrecking yard and found that Honda's in general a great reliable cars.

Not sure I would want to crash in a CRX after what I've seen, but the other cars are really tough.

2004 4dr here and I love mine(well actually the wife does, but she lets me drive it on occasion) but outside the of the Camry I don't think there is any competition for the accord in its price range. Nothing but good to report in terms of reliability, fit and finish, fun to drive, handles well, great ergonomics for driver amd passengers and I liked the styling better than the Camry. Just don't get the dark grey like I did as you'll have trouble distinguishing it from all the other dark grey accords out.

Quoted:
1996 Accord LX 116k on it runs strong, getting almost 28mpg out of her.

That's nuth'n, I get 28mpg out of my 99 Crown Vic with 3.27s and 144k. Honest injun.

The car is a minty 00 Accord EX with leather, moonroof, CD + Cassette. Looking at a $11.7K with 61K on it.

It was one of the best built cars I have seen based on 1st impressions.

May look at the 03s and up though....the 06 Hybrid Accord is sweet too.

My parents bought a 98, 01, and gave the 98 to my brother, the 01 to my sister. They just picked up an 05, all of them LX models.  They run like tops.

Ditto....I have a 97.....never had a problem, other than a starter going out at 130K.

Now at 150k.....knock on wood, but no problems.
