And the Last Place team has a better winning percentage than the First Place Team!

Last night, The New York Mets, 64-60, .516
Defeated the San Diego Padres, 61-63, .492

The National League East and West divisions are unreal.  Every team in the East is above 500; every team in the West is below 500.

Can anybody think of a year when something like this has happened?  The closest I can remember is 1973.  The National League East champ had a winning percentage of 509.

The West is typically pathetic.  It is usually the AL West though.

The NL East is just plain tough.
