So I went out a purchased a new computer bundle. I had my old one for 5 years or more it seem to have nothing but problem so I went on ahead and bit the bullet. I'm still using my old one for now at least till a month for now. I found out however my new one didn't have modem(I'm still using dial up) it had the esthernet(I think that's the damn name....can you guess how good I am with computers) well my parents are going to buy me Comcast and their highspeed package.

Out of curosity how much does it cost a month for those that would know? I understand they offer 19.99 a month for the first 6 months, but I want to know how much it goes up after that.

I think I pay between $45 and $55 a month. Not sure, the wife unit sends the checks.

And your new computer has an ETHERNET port.

Use that, avoid all temptation to use USB to go from your cable modem to your computer.
