for the second tier of the assault class assignment, the one where you have to win 5 SQDM matches, do you have to use the assault class? or will a SQDM win with say support also count?

Use any class. I was running engineer in all 5 of my wins this past weekend.

I got the worst luck when it comes to getting placed in SQDM matches... I'm up to nearly a dozen games without a single win so far

sounds like me. every squad i get on is either full of snipers or guys who run around as bullet spunges.

Yeah I usually get stuck with REALLY bad teams to. One game I played I'm 20-5 in 1st the next guy to me is 5-3 everyone else on my team has big negative K/D ratio.

The SDM requirement was the worst. Noone likes playing it, and its basically full of hacks, cheats, and exploiters. So EA forces us to eat that shit sammich. . . .

I run Support class. Nice to be able to refill your ammo, plus get resupply bonuses.

get on the squad death match server that takes 5 to win shorter matches higher percentage to win.

All I have left is the jeep kills. All other assignments have been done for quite a while.

Yes, I found that to be one of the easier things to get. I got all 5 in one match, 2 roadkills, then park it behind a corner and wait for someone to come running by, just bear in mind, the MG isn't turreted, back the jeep in just right so that you have a decent field of fire.

I got 4 out of 5 SQDM wins with randoms. It is not hard. My advice is Claymores, avoid the IFV (using it and destroying it) and use the silencer. (Not sure which weapons still show up on the minimap.)

I have been using the suppression perk but it is still taking FOREVER to get. When I shoot at someone one of two things usually happens, I kill them or they kill me so I dont really get many suppression assists. I am at 33/50 and I have been trying for about the last 2-3 days.

No kidding.

I have perfect perch to shoot from. My first time out with the SAW, on that map, netted me 15 kills and no deaths. Couple that with being able to do the ammo resupply, bonuses are plenty.

The claymores are awesome to use, in mining the stairs.

Yep..the tunnel on GB is like shooting fish in a barrel.

The building over looking the courtyard in Seine Crossing, 3rd floor is a good one too. Gives you good fields of fire down the alley, the courtyard and the tunnel to the right.

Mine the stairs with claymores and have a field day.

It's even better when someone joins you, like someone that is a engineer or with a grenade launcher. You keep putting out ammo and they keep shooting with you.

The truth about SQDM:

Your squad will consist of:

2 stone cold steely eyed killers who can kill you 200 ways with a spoon. These guys will get 15 kills per round each.

1 guy who is trying out the latest COD tactics. He will not give you ammo or health, those are for him. He will however charge into the open hallway of death with his finger on the trigger of his 200rd support gun screaming his head off. He will cut down one guy before 5 other tangos rape him with a rake. He will get between 2 and 4 kills this round.

1 guy who will see the guy above, think he's pretty cool and doesn't afraid of anything and will run around the map locating enemies with his corpse. He will go 1 and 13 that round. He will then call you a noob.
