The least expensive M15 A4 Carbine upper is $500 on your website. At 10% off thats a $450 upper not $350 as mentioned above. Is this a typo or are there others that i'm not seeing?

I "need"another Armalite upper, glad I waited.
A few days ago, at the link for the fall hunters sale, there was an M4 type carbine complete upper listed for under $400. Maybe it will be back at that 350 price. |

I can read there is no need to yell. But the OP says that with this sale, based on the uppers available on their site including the fall hunters special there will be uppers for $350. Unless they plan on changing prices between now and then the 10% discount does not get us to a $350 upper which is why i asked if it was a typo OR if there was something that I was not seeing. I'm not expecting to see a $350 upper today However I am expecting to see a $390 upper that with the 10% discount would be $350 |

I think a better way to answer the question would be with model numbers of the uppers that will be around $350.

Guys, I came in this morning and was perplexed by your posts. The $389 upper I was talking about is the UEO446B. It's an M-15 law enforcement model carbine. We had LOTS of them. After I wrote my news release and posted it here, all of those $389 uppers were snatched up yesterday afternoon. The webmaster took them off the site after I went home. However, I just came back from the production managers, and they've promised me they'd make some for the sale. These were not scheduled to be built, but they will be, in very limited quantities. First come, first served. The ArmaLite webmaster will put them back on the site right before we all leave Friday afternoon. If you have any questions, please ask.

There's more to the sale than the $389 upper.
Here's a factory favorite: U10A4CBFX It has a carbine barrel with a low profile gas block hidden under a rifle-length handguard. It has better handling with the full length tube. It has a more stable stance because you can mount your bipod further foward. The free float tube is both light weight and high strength. The free float tube also enhances accuracy. And, the whole set-up is great for mounting cup-holders. It's priced at $799 now. You can take off $79.99 during the sale this coming weekend. AS |

Do you guys mind scheduling this on another day?????
Like when I have some money Thanks guys |

We took a major power hit today. All the computer systems went down. The weekend 10-10-10 AGAIN Sale is ON. I'll let the person who gets the hoodie from Free Stuff Friday know who they are on Monday.
AS |
the sale start at midnight? what time zone? will the UEO446B be on the site at that time?
The least expensive upper is $500; subtract 10%, you get to $450. There are no uppers priced at a point where 10% off would give you $389, and the UEO446B has no price (it does not show as unavailable, merely as a 'no price' item).
Did you fire your webmaster for screwing up yet? mbogo |
I stayed up late last night to make sure I got one of the uppers, and it never showed up on the website
Maybe the power hit prevented the web site from being updated as promised.

The power hit messed up everybody's Friday. It took us off the net, it knocked out our e-mail. Our webmaster, our IT guy and an outside expert were still there as everyone left last night. I have not talked to them this morning. A LOT of things we wanted to do yesterday afternoon could not be done. Our Free Stuff Friday on Twitter crashed. We could not update the 10% Sale's web page when we wanted to. I could not finish work I was doing for the upcoming SHOT Show and the NRA Meetings. We want the weekend sale to be a success. We want you guys to be happy. We at ArmaLite work hard at making fine firearms AND at providing top-rate customer service. If you have specific questions or concerns, e-mail me at the site here.

Very understandable, any eta on when they should be up on the site?
No, Phoenix, not from me. I live three minutes from the factory. I'll walk over and see if there are any cars in the parking lot.
AS |
Don't worry about it, you've already been plenty helpful, I just wish I could stroll down and check out a factory like that whenever, that'd be pretty neat
It just showed up on the website, I ordered one, but the coupon didn't seem to be effective.

I did the same thing, you guys are great, speaks wonders to the integrity of the company that you'd make more of the UE0446B uppers just because they sold out before the sale they were advertised in. |
Thanks for the votes of confidence, guys. I just got a voice mail from my boss. I think the system is still one of the walking wounded. Enjoy your weekend, I'm gonna go rake leaves.

I don't see it on the website. Did it already get pulled again?
It doesn't appear that they ever made the updates to the web site. Perhaps they will re-run the offer next weekend.

They did have the upper listed for a while, I think they just sold out quickly

They did have the upper listed for a while, I think they just sold out quickly +1 i was able to order it. looking at the earlier posts, it looks like they were going to do another limited run of them just for this sale since they sold out before the sale started. that's pretty stand up of them to make another product just for a sale weekend. |
I checked the site at midnight and at 7-8am on Sat and they had not posted the UEO upper. I checked it periodically throughout the day and never saw the upper. I hope we will still have a chance to pick one up, I was looking forward to trying out an Armalite upper.

Folks, our computer system is still limping. Our interent access comes and goes. When we DO have internet, it crawls. This is the second time I've tried to post this. We have no e-mail. When the system is back, I'll know what's what. Thanks again for your patience. I'll leave this post here for a while, but later today I'll have to change what we have on ar15.com's home page.

Good luck. I'm in the IT business and know how helpless you must feel.
mbogo |

This is bad business. If I were you I would pull all this until your IT can get its act together. In the meantime it just looks bad for armalite..

The sales already over, he has explained clearly whats going on, whats the issue? The issue is that the original poster mentioned items that were supposed to made available at an advantageous price the weekend of 10/23-10/24; those items were never made available. I, for one, am willing to chalk it up to the power hit making it impossible to get the items posted, but it would be nice if Armalite ran the special again this coming weekend. mbogo |
Except they were posted, they just sold out quickly. I purchased one, as did someone else on the thread
As to what the above poster stated, I think the sale was run poorly (I really hope it has something to do with the power problems). No longer sure that I will be spending my hard earned money with Armalite after my experience. Armalite stated they would list the uppers at the end of the day on Friday, which they did not. I spent over an hour collectively checking the site on Saturday waiting for the uppers to post, yet never saw them (checked as early as midnight). My time is valuable and it was wasted. I have purchased many AR uppers and accessories during sales from other distributors and have never had an issue. For ex. Items and coupons were listed and discounts worked as advertised.
