I,m guessing but is it a .30 Carbine?
Link Posted: 4/11/2008 4:21:33 PM EDT
[#9]
Yep .30 carbine bigbob creation without the pistol grip mechanism ( wouldnt work reliably with the side cocking handles)
Club i shoot at is pistol rated to .45 so use it there and out to 300yds.
Very pleasant to use

Very nice - any more of these likely to come onto the market now the new one is being issued?

Probably not from UK MoD as rumour has it that ex .Mil firearms can't be sold to UK citizens
However they are still available from new and waiting list is approx 6 months.

I was toying with ordering one and then this became available.....so I grabbed it

I believe the ex UK MOD ones in 7.62mm are going to our allies in the Iraqi security forces........................

I had a green Sussex Armoury Jakal Hi-power. I also had a cool Walther P38 and a PPK replicas from them. They had cool catalogues, and I think I may have one somewhere, I'll try to dig it out

They were a great fun rifle, It still looks good today, lucky you... !!!

I'm clearly in the wrong job! I'm struggling to scrape the funds together to get a cheap scope for my T4!

I think your two scopes must be worth as much as my entire firearms collection!

There is often some good used stuff up for grabs here: www.airgunbbs.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=25 , it changes on a daily basis. It may be worth a look.

Cheers

Top is Marlin .44, bottom is Marlin 45-70 (awaiting suitable optic and Hornady LeverEvolution ammo)

WHAT???
Sacrilege.
Don't put an optic on these rifles, use as nature intended.

It's no quicker, I won the Adv Tgt and the Steels with my stock 1894 against scoped rifles with barricade blocks on (and took a rabbit with a snap shot - messy!) - it makes no difference.

Shouldn't be allowed!
Get into airsoft instead, it's more acceptable.

Anyway, some more pics;

My 6.5-08

R22, (it has irons on it now, and a 50rnd drum mag)

...OK, so I was bored one day at work, but it takes bunnies and is whisper quiet

And nearly forgot, my baby
