Does anybody know of a quality AK builder in Georgia? I am in Atlanta and wanted to convert a Draco into a SBR. I'm on a budget so looking for other options than sending to someone out of state. I'm willing to travel so I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks guys.

There is some guy from macon that either post here or on GON that builds them. Not sure of his screen name though. Try the AK forum on here or GON.

I am also going to SBR my Draco.  There is no need to use an AK builder unless you are wanting to replace the rear trunion to accept another type of AK stock.  Here is a link to someone who used an ACE folding stock adapter:Draco SBR

I will be using this Ace adapter:  Folding stock mechanism
with an Ace Socom.  Just need to drill and tap two holes into the rear of the trunion.

Agreed.  Check the AK pistol forum on this site for some details on drilling and tapping the rear trunnion.  Here are a couple of pics of my SBR Draco using the the Ace folder.
