| Can any one tell me how long it usually takes for one of these applications to get processed? I was told at the courthouse that it can take up to about 4 and a half monthes. Does anybody know if they usually take this long? |

The initial application takes a while. They figure if you are in a smokin hurry to pack heat, maybe they should let you think about it a while. If they can do a Brady check in 10 minutes, you'd think they could turn those CCW apps a little faster. Just don't let it expire! Once you have it, renew 4 months before expiration. Then the renewal is only 2 weeks or so, but if it expired, start at square one again. |
