Hey guys, I find myself moving back to WA this fall after about a 3 yr absence.

In those 3 yrs my collection has increased due to BRD and was wondering if I get some info from you guys on some places for me to shoot out in WA. I will be moving to  the Bellingham area.

I plan on checking the range finder but thought I would get some info from you guys in the HT forum.

Ideally I am looking for some wide open state land and a nice range where I can shoot unsupported if I want. Here in MI my local ranges suck but luckily I have friends with lots of acreage up north with some pretty nice private spots.

I remember I used to go mountain biking in the Bham area and would constantly see casings laying around just off the fire roads and always wondered if you could shoot there legally without getting hassled by locals or the authorities.

Any input on spots or clubs for me to check out would be greatly appreciated.

There are a lot of good gravel pits in the hills east of Bellingham.

The locations of WA HTF organized shoots and general shooting locations can be a sensitive issue. We have chosen to be discreet about sharing the information in the open forum, to protect & ensure our future use of them. Asking for coordinates or driving directions to a place to shoot besides commercial clubs and ranges, will seldom get answered directly, or in a positive light. Our sport has been at the mercy of unfortunate political trends more and more, but through intelligent choices, we can continue enjoying our freedoms without further undue harassment or limitations.

To easy.  Welcome to Bellingham.

Go to the DNR website and look up public lands - it really is that simple.

As others have said the Plantation Rifle and Custer Sportsmans club.
