The guy who just sold me the mk11 can also had it so I let him widen up my rear end a little further.

That is sick but I am thinking grab one of the presently available ambis to complete that and use the Vero for a MK11 time / money sink going forward -  just saying...

I already secured an ambi, just gotta wait a few weeks. The vero lower actually belongs to this match rifle, I have an issued gas block, just need to get the barrel cut and reprofiled, mk11 can is pending form3 also.

Very cool.  I have a match which is mostly stock except I did a modern KAC EER mount instead of the factory rings it came with and a PMII - it works.

Took some guns out last weekend to do some shooting at 200yd. I know that's not far for most, and definitely not far for the Mk12 or M110, but it's farther than I usually get to shoot so it was an absolute blast. The M110 was like cheating at that range. I did want to ask..what buffer springs are y'all using? I'm using a KAC M110 rifle buffer but I have just a standard AR10 spring in there. Was wondering if something a little "nicer" would be worth it.

Man, I wish I could get a can but it looks like that'll likely never happen
. I'm not about to spend $7-9k on one

ETA: are there any concerns with taking the flashider off? I'm considering getting a Griffin taper mount for my F1 suppressor just so I can at least shoot this thing suppressed. I assume the muzzle is 5/8x24?

With the spring, I think it would be worth trying the geissele rifle spring in it. Pretty cheap but gets rid of the twang and not overly complicated like the JP offerings. I have no experience using it yet in a mk11 or m110 as my build isn't done yet.

There’s a KAC M110 spring in the EE AR10 section.

I have no affliction with the seller.

The USMC run LT840H-34-0 on M40A6 and Mk13 Mod7. For M110 SASS and M110K1 they run LT840H-34-20.

Ah. It seemed really short compared to the 5-25 I've got right now on my EMC. It damn near reaches the end of the rail. Kinda want to find something shorter (that's NOT what she said) .

While not clone correct, I like the idea of the new S&B Ultra Short 5-20 (I believe it's around 11.75" in overall length).

Same. It's even shorter than the 3-20. I talked myself out of a good deal on one at EuroOptic a while back. It was MOA and I didn't really feel like having one optic that's MOA or sending it in to get them swapped to mil.

Lmao. That pic shows nothing but a dog and pony show for the higher ups. That is probably a spare gun and spare M40A6 scope in the armory that they slapped together for him to fan shoot; big telltale is rear sight in front of angle cosine indicator.

Get the 20 for M110/M110K1 cause that's the correct one.

If you wanna see real work gun with the correct mount here's my buddy's issued K1:

And here's hi-res of the pic above:

You are correct the 20moa were originally used with the m8541 and m8541a on the sass and k1 as the m40a6 and mod7 already have 20 moa I believe built into the top rails, however I've seen various instances where optics and mounts are swapped quite frequently between systems, maybe intentionally or unintentionally who knows. If going with with an atacr 5-25, I'm not sure if 20moa clears on the sass, hence maybe they recycled the 0moa mounts and glass (most likely from the mod7), on the sass in this capacity as well?

Is, or was, there an official designation of this variant? Or is this a custom configuration? Pardon my ignorance if it's common knowledge either way. The full stock with shortened barrel , married up to a full rail, but with the diving board, is kind of the perfect amalgamation of the m110 and k1 I never knew I wanted so badly. Amazing kit!

Pretty clean Delta you have there. What optic are you thinking about going with?

I’ve been running a cqbss most of the time. But occasionally throw on my Mark 6 or Nightforce 4-16.

Not clone correct, obviously, but I’m waiting on a S&B ultra short 5x20 with the tremor5 reticle. Been on order since early May and supposedly it’s in route from Germany.

Also have a CQBSS but will probably throw that on the 14.5” 7.62 upper I have coming
