But that could just be from lighting. Still looks good though, may have to grab some when I get low on FD. |

Yeah it's very disappointing that these parts are wildly out of spec and vary drastically in batches. Last year I probably wasted 40-50 hours on just a couple of "M110 builds" due to to pretty big issues. To make it financially worth it to work on these parts wouldn't make sense for me or the customer. It's just a simple opportunity cost break down, the time and resources devoted to those guns simply is outweighed by other shop services and other work we're receiving. It's no skin off my back, I think NS does great work and you should send them the third party builds if they're taking them. |

As I said, I’m sure your reasons are legit. 40-50 hours is no small amount of time and I’m sure your hourly rate is up there from the work I’ve seen you put out. Out of curiosity, what 3rd party parts were you seeing that were way out of spec? |

I'm really not going to just list all the issues we've had in the last year/year and a half. Trust me - I absolutely love working on M110s and the clones. I love mailing one back and seeing people stoked on their builds. I've done tons of them at this point, but we become the middle man to people we're not vendors with and don't get support with. So when something goes wrong either in the build process or there is an issue after the build is done we are usually the first people having to deal with it when it's really not an issue on our end. At this time, I just don't feel comfortable putting my name on some of these projects. It wasn't easy decision to walk away from doing the builds currently, because people find other vendors an will then continue using them for all their work moving forward. But that's just an issue I have to deal with. |

Luckily, my inlaws own a gravel pit so I can go out there whenever I want but the terrain changes quite often, and getting much beyond 150 yards is almost impossible. If I get creative, I can climb up on top of a pile of ground up asphalt and get enough elevation to shoot across the property to about 300 but it sometimes requires shooting over the top of some equipment. |

Guess I forgot to show this girl some love from the range the other day. First time shooting w/ MAMS. Very effective...at kicking up dirt/gravel and having the wind blow it back in my face.
