I started reloading some rounds for my father in law for his M1A recently.
He also has a K98 Izzy that he shoots a lot of surplus out of. He really likes the one kind but it is Berdan primed but he would like to reload it. I know Graf's sells berdan primers but I don't know much about reloading them. Is the process basically the same? What would change? Is it worth it? Thanks guys!! Paul |
| The difference is that you need a different tool for decapping the brass and the primers are a different size meaning that your normal priming tools won't work either. Then there is the issue of reliably finding Berdan primers in the correct size. Worth it? It is to some but I don't count myself in that number. |

If you like to do it just to do it, then I have no problem with the exercise. Chris |

Too much trouble? Maybe for those who have never tried it. |
