So it can be reapplied easily and quickly. View Quote very nice i've been wanting to do something similar to one of my rifles. good colors and subtle pattern , two thumbs up edit to add pic of the rifle for the top of page 7 , right now it's just rattle canned in rustoleum dark taupe. i figure this should be a good base for some kind of camo pattern. |

I did it more for a fun project . Most of my mags and the sling is black. I don't own any camo clothing either. I would stick out a lot more than my rifle :) Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

I like that you took the time to take up all the entry areas and especially the slight gap between the upper and lower. This is often overlooked.
If you put on nice light coats then you don't have too much to worry about, but just thing... Your trigger springs and action are sitting right there behind that gap. Not something you want any paint on at all if you can avoid it. I liked to build models as a kid and learned that it's 90% in the prep work and getting everything ready. Looks like you've done a great job and did some great camo jobs. Being totally honest I couldn't see the rifle till I zoomed in in my phone and read your post. Lol! I thought it was just some multicam reference. Haha. |
