Do it yourself. It's fun.

Other than that:

Fast, good, and cheap - pick 2. Good shops will have a wait.

Another vote for DIY unless you want some Gucci polished stuff to stunt on social media.

Id have to say this. I already had an Agency 19, and wanted the framework done on my other carry 19, and looked at everybody for work and price. I had already waited what felt like an eternity with the gun down while having the slide milled and cerakoted, so I didn't like the thought of waiting another month or more to have someone do the framework. Also, the cost of framework is very high, but pretty much justified when you see all the work that really goes into it.

So I ended up doing mine myself, even though I was pretty sure id jack it up. I really took my time, too much probably, but it turned out much better than I thought to be honest. With close to 4 hours of work in mine, I can see why the pros charge a pretty penny to do the work.

Posted this on the other stippling thread, but I'll throw it in here also. I have only used Polymer Refined. Highly impressed with their work and customer service. He received my frame on Wednesday and shipped it back on Friday. It feels better than it looks. In my opinion, that's saying a lot.

So, at the Lewisville TX gun show today I held a couple of "professional" stippling jobs. I did not like that I had to pull the gun from my shooting hand with my weakside hand. Some sandpaper could have fixed it in a minute or two. Too much is too much. Glock got it right with G4 IMHO.

I also used Polymer Refined for my Glock 19.

The Puzzle Matrix pattern shown above (the most agressive stippling) is what Kent recommends and I am glad I followed his advice.

Feels as good as it looks.

the thumb shelf is actually a shelf, not just stippled.  He mills the thick part of frame ahead of take down block so it is same thickness as the rest of frame which leaves a "shelf" to rest your support hand thumb on for those of you who use the Enos/Latham grip.   Seems like a small thing describing it but this really helps act as a landing pad for your support hand and gives me a quick, precise reference point.

Turn around time one week with several updates by email or text.

+1 for jagerwerks.  They did my 17 slide and i plan on sending my 19 slide to them too.
Also looking at polymer refined for my frame work. Just not sure if the hassle of ffl to CA and back is worth it.

I couldn't be happier with mine. Kent is a great guy. It spent more time in transit than what he had it. Unless your ffl is raping you, it should be cheaper to send from your ffl than it is to send direct.

Never done the stippling but the trigger guard undercut and finger groove removal is extremely easy to DIY with a Dremel.
