Can you guys post some pictures of SAR 2 rifles for me?They do not have to be your own,I am just looking for ideas.I cant seem to find anyone to do the work i need done so i guess I ll have to by the tools and learn to do it on my own rifle. I am really looking for SAR 2 rifles made to look like AK74's.I have a SAR2 that I want to add a 74 front sight base,and a Krink style side folder too.I have the parts but no one to do the work!  I just need some pics that I can look at and use as reference.Thank You.

Well, the sidefolder would be a real bitch to add. You'd have to drill out the old rear trunnion rivets, make a bunch of cuts in the receiver, weld up the front-most rivet hole by the selector, drill a new hole, rivet in the new trunnion, and refinish the receiver. |

Sorry, I had it professionally done. I wanted it done right for this gun. I would get the bulgy front site base if I were to do it again. Ps. Get one before they sell out and you have to wait 2 -3 years before the are imported again  TSA |

The bulgarian front sight base does not fit the romanain '74. That may be why you are talking about 'shims'; although I've never heard of anybody using 'shims' to put a front sight base on. Not saying it can't be done that way, but that's not the right way to do it. You need a romanian front sight base, with a romanian or romanian spec muzzle brake. It's just a matter of press and pin with the right parts. |

(No longer available). - $5 can of high-temp ceramic engine paint. Need to install a better fire control group- probably a G2. The original Century parts are horrid. |
