I recently bought an upper from DTI.  I orderd  the complete M4 flat top.  I received the cheaper priced Complete uppper w/T marks. Or at least the one I received has T marks.

My question concerns the M4 feed ramp cuts. It has been a long time since I have buit an AR and was wondering if any one could offer some guidance about what the m4 cuts look like in the upper since I have never actulally seen one.  A pic would be very useful as if what I have is in fact an M4 upper I'll live with the T marks if I can get a refund of the difference from DTI.

I used "Thursday" to find it.

That was awesome.  And it's not even Thursday.

I'm glad y'all found a way to make it pop up in my search (via this thread, the original didn't)

I'm thinking the barrel I'm looking for (lightweight, midlength) will come WITH the M4 ramps, and I want to put it in a slab-sided A1-sighted receiver (what would that be, M16?) that will certainly NOT have the ramps?

So I'm thinking I'll need to fit the RECEIVER, and I'm expecting to be more "comfortable" grinding aluminum rather than steel, but still it'll need some kind of paint or something when done, right?

It's new to all of us until we've done it once.
