What is everybody using to haul their AR to the range? No wanting to spend a lot of $ on a case, I would rather spend the extra money on more ammo  Any suggestions?

I also use it when I travel with long guns (using multiple foam inserts for different guns). Plus it will last you a lifetime. Um yeah, any idea what that cost? You will fall over. Ar15.com store has some nice ones, although i have seen the same case minus the logo sold for 40-50 bucks at the last gun show. I'd just get a decent hard case for 20-30 bucks unless you want to go all out with the pelican 1750. |
| to the range, i use the case i got my M&P in for my dedicated .22lr and for the other rifles, i use my VooDoo tactical case. hold's my other 2 AR's. and i have a Ruger 10/22 bag for my Romanian Underfolder AK. i am just going to range after all, i wish i had the money for the pelican. probably will end up buying one sometime down the line. |

I went and spent $100 on a 5.11 case. Its okay.
If your trying to save.....get a UTG. I bought one for a pistol and love it. Nothing fancy. Zipper is incredibly smooth. Here is one link. I know they have several diff models. You can get without the ammo pockets. Can't beat the price. UTG case |

Best tactical case ever - Double case in 36" is being dicontinued by 5.11 and is @ closeout cost !!!!
