Hey Guys -

I'm currently in the research phase for a Mk12 Mod 0 project. I have most of the parts picked out already as most of the specs are pretty easy to find, but I'm having trouble on finding the correct type of scope.

I have little to no experience with magnified optics, so I don't really no how to distinguish between good and bad. As I'm trying to keep as close as possible to the original specs of the Mk12 Mod 0, I've been looking for the Leupold MR/T 3-9x36 scope, but I don't see these listed on Leupold's website. Have they been discontinued? if so, can you guys recommend an alternative?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I am not an expert on the Mk12 Mod 0, or optics, but there is a great thread on the set up including optics used ––-> right here. An excellent resource for your project

The original was Mark 4 3-9x36mm MR/T M3 w/ Illuminated (Mil-Dot) Reticle. The alternative Leupold makes now is the Mark 4 2.5-8x36mm MR/T M2 Illuminated Reticle.

If you look in the SPR thread there is a current issue Mk12 MOD1 posted by Blackjack272 and the MR/T I listed is the scope that came on it...
