Is there a 77grain cam for this scope? where can I get a scope with one? I was attempting to purchase one from a vendor and came into that problem. I assumed with an "SPR" reticle, it would come with an option being an SPR 77grain cam. Thanks. |
I tried one on for size... it is a very well designed scope. the reticel is very fast to acquire. the illumination is not bright enough for day time use so you can't really use it as a red dot but during day time, the retidle seem to be fast enough for combat work. The scope is compact enough to sit on top of an AR and it is very clear with nice clarity around the edges. I have tried the S&B short dot but it is so freaking clear, it is almost unnatural.... The only gripe on the MRT 1.5-5 is the 1.5 power for CQB, it does throw you off a bit but if you it for a bit, you just get use to it. I think in my amature opinion, it is a very nice alternative to the much more expensive short dot. I am adding one to my SPR.. I had my TA31 on my SPR for the longest, but now it is being moved to my new KAC URX2 and I think the M2 MRT will fit just fine on top of my SPR with a mid #22 throwlever. |

I have one of each M2 and M3 MR/Ts. The illumination is not 'Short Dot' grade and is meant to be sued in low-light situations. The M2 is a more useful for general purpose work out to 300m but you probably want the extra mag of the M3 for 300m+. It's more closely comaprable to either the IOR 1.1-4x CQB or the Meopta 1.1-4x. One advanatge it has is that it comes with Butler Creek flip ups and you can cutom any BDC for about $100. It's a real shame that they didn't FF it. It would be worth paying another $100-150 for it. I r run mine on a Larue SPR. Simon |
LOL Don't worry Duff, you'll have a shot at mine once it hits the EE. |
