| OK So I bought 3K of WPA and so far it won't feed for shit in either DPMS or BUSHY. It has had 4 FTEs in my AK .223 and 2 FTF in my SIG 556. Anyone else having issues with this ammo of do I have a gem batch. I have not even gotten through 500 rounds yets. I am thinking about just dumping it through my Mini14 to see if that will eat it. |

Steel cased ammo voids DPMS warranty (but then almost all ammo does that, really).
I have had occasional FT-Fire, primer would not ignite maybe 1 in 200. Better than the previous ULY made stuff in my current guns (PWS MK114, Keltech SU16CA, FNH-FS2000) It is dirty, less accurate and not 100% and there are guns (such as yours) that do not have good luck with it and I would not stake my life on it (That is what IMI is for) I might be more inclined to use it if I did not reload for close combat style training but my reloads are cheaper, more accurate, way cleaner and when I do my part (There have been times when I screw up and create my own problems, though rarely) function like any factory good ammo. IMO, your guns do not prefer WPA but it sounds like it is 95% so can still be used for training and particularly speeding up your malfunction correction capabilities. Nobody wants these problems but but just be in a mindset that when these occur you take advantage of the problem to be better at clearing and be back in action ASAP. You can also make a sign and walk around you nearest gun show "Wolf 223 WPA For Sale" If you bought 3K at AIM your shipped price is under $4.00 a box and most guns shows sell that at $5.00 so "Sale 10 boxes for $45.00" will move a bunch of that to the gun show never shop online crowd Wulfmann |
