What's the nut at the end closest to the rifle? Some kind of clamp? Is it going to come in other colors or is the moe stuff only black? ( I admit I should know that)

"optional dual-side front and rear QD mounting points"

Where can I actually buy this stock? Magpul does not show it on their site, nor does Rainer arms.

I will buy one....

I wish they made it about 2.5" shorter...  just under "A1" length.

...I'll probably still buy one soon as I can play with one local.

They wanted them to go on rifle tubes though, I assume for sales to manufacturers and for stuff like selling them to police who have to keep the stock tube (although who runs a rifle tube anymore).  If their goal was "sell 'em on arfkom" it would probably look more like a sully stock and no one would buy them If you keep in mind the goal was to make an a1/2 stock it's a neat design.

I agree 100%... and I'm sure I will have one as soon as I can find one local.

As for a shorty though, I'd bet if they produced a 3/4 length version of this (including a tube) there would be a pretty substantial market, more so than the full length A1-2.

You would need a spacer to use a Carbine Buffer, or use an A5 length extension, plus an A5 buffer. Either way, adding a tube a spacer, or a tube and buffer, would add to the cost of what is a niche market.

Very nice. Not bad for a fixed stock.

Stickman

Hows the weight compared to a standard A2 stock?

Same length as PRS with the buttplate fully closed?

I'm interested in the weight, too...

Thanks!

Do you have to have the A2 spacer or does it mount directly to the tube like the PRS does?

PSA had them on sale with buffer and tube so I ordered one. Guess I'll see what it feels like

I got mine in, the whole kit, from PSA today. If my brownells order gets here tomorrow I'll have it installed tomorrow night..

Its smaller than I imagined it would be, and it is light, but feels solid. Wanted to try it out, and a fixed stock in general, while I wait for a Vltor A5 buffer tube to come back in stock somewhere..

Does it come with a screw?  I'm not sure the existing screw will fit after I remove the A2 spacer. Does it come with a QD insert?

Comes with the screw, but no QD insert. I need to find out what I need to put a QD swivel in the front hole on the stock. I think I am going to like this stock a lot.

I've installed two. Fit and feel are superior to the a2 stock.  I'm ditching my prs stocks.  I have no need for adjustable cheek rests and they are far lighter.

No spacer needed.
I picked one up at the funshow. I'll be putting it on Monday.

It slips right over the tube, no spacer. Mounts in about 10 seconds on a rifle length tube.

As far a storage, there is a lot of room in there.

I'm waiting on a lower to arrive for a specific build before I get a writeup on GearScout.

Slightly shorter than an A2 stock.

From Brownell's description (13.25" LOP) it may be about 10.25" long (end of receiver to end of stock heel).  About halfway between an A1 and A2 stock.

I know I'm going to buy at least one of these, dammit!
