Anyone know where to find the LMT tanodized receiver extensions? I can't even find record of them on LMT's site. Would love to not spend $75 on a Geissele or get stuck with a questionable RGuns RE (only readily available, viable options IMO). Hoping for a middle ground. |

Thanks gents! Since I'm not cloning anything, I guess the genuine Colt ODG is out. A bit pricey.. And the 4 position is a bust too as I use position 3..  Pic thread! Fortis just released a 7075 castle nut in (FDE and some other colors). https://fortismfg.com/accessories/endplate-castlenut-k1 They also have a some other accessories such as a billet+carbon fiber dust cover in FDE. |

Ended up building a complete new upper for the RGuns Tanodized upper receiver. This one has a Rainer Arms select SS/Nitride 10.5" 1:8T barrel. Love it. Scalarworks PEAK BUIS & LaRue FDE index clips on the way    All things peanut butter

Hell, even Geissele colors are all over the place from batch to batch. Both MK8 rails pictured above are completely different. Just a personal preference, but I dig it. |

It's nice that RGuns is in the same ballpark though. |

I've now bought two of their forged uppers, and 1 forged lower into the arsenal mix. I know they got a bad rap over the years.. they're certainly not "top shelf" goods, but I'll be darned if they're not a great value for TODAY'S MARKET (at least what I bought are.) The way I've got everything put together is as good as I need/want. FYI: They stated when the inventory of tanodized/greenodized goods are sold, they're done. No more colors. |

I got some Radian clear in so I thought I'd take a pic. It's light but not as light as the Forward Controls tan color. Looks good IMO. Hopefully Radian makes SD-SLs and Talons in clear. Attached File Attached File |

That may be mentioned in this thread. Geissele is doing complete URGs. They have been having some decent sales lately, may be able to pick up one complete for a nice price. |
