LBE makes a "brown" anodized buffer tube, it is almost identical in color to the G ddc tubes. Super nice quality, much nicer than any of the rguns tubes I've bought. I'll post some pics soon. Edit: they also have a grey color that looks good too. It has less of the red purplish hue that the G tubes can have but it's much closer to flat dark earth than most anodized parts will be. The rguns is on the right and it looks gold compared to the LBE. Attached File |

Geissele Super Duty 11.5" Pistol Form 1 has been filed. Will either get a B5 SOPMOD Gov Overrun in Brown or a Vltor IMod Standard in FDE. Additional parts: Unity Tactical Fast Micro Mount Aimpoint Micro T2 FDE Modlite PLHv2 18650 FDE Surefire tailcap Modbutton Lite Unity Tactical Fusion Hub 2.0 FDE Unity Tactical Fusion Fixed Front Sight FDE Unity Tactical Fusion Light Wing Right, FDE Rifle is basically done unless I do a magnifier and UT Mount. May also get a lil crazy and get a Forward Control Tano dust cover.    Direct sunlight pic, no adjustment.

I was considering cutting the 6920 barrel down to 10.5" and using this cerakoted Centurion C4 cutout on it. I'm going to wait until I get the gun and see the coloration of the receivers before I make that call however. Here's what it looked like on a 10.3 MK18-esque build.

Pictured below is my humble offering to the Tano crowd. Pictured top left is a R-Guns (accidentally bought Commercial…) Top right is a Backwoods Bronze, which is actually more hideous in real life. Attached to the lower is an extension from Outdoor Tactical Suppliers, which matches the Aero Tano best of the three. Other parts include Aero Tanodized M4E1 w/ 9” Atlas set, a DDC Geissele SCH, FDE BCM Mod-0, Aero LPK, MBT-2S, Toolcraft Nitride BCG, and a FDE cerakoted end plate by Timber Creek. I have a 10” BA 300 barrel on the way, and this will get a Magpul FDE SL once the F1 is back.

Thanks. The reviews/questions seem to indicate they’re Toolcraft, so good to go in my book. Now to put the TiN on the EE ETA: 45-minutes after posting and it’s already sold. I love the EE! Now to wait till that PSA goes on a Daily Deal. |

I was thinking of doing a 50 shades of FDE for my 300blk pistol and was going to get my M4E1 builder set cerakoted in different shades (FDE, burnt bronze, and maybe coyote tan). The cost would be about the same as buying this set. I've been having a hard time finding any tanodized sets. |
| During my search for the above post ^^ I did find that Guntec offers a biller upper in bronze anodized. I know Guntec isn't top of the line and it is also only T6 6061 but it's close to being tanodized.
