Agreed. This clone thread has been a GD trainwreck for awhile now. Where are the clone police when you need them?

Non-clone Green rail thread...

Didn’t someone say that the SWAT guys do pretty much whatever anyway?

Does that mean the Sig optic is mandatory?

Has the HRT barrel and the MK4 Federal.

Planning on putting an Aimpoint Pro or T2 on top eventually. May also submit SBR paperwork eventually.

Obviously there are several different builds of the FBI rifles over the years.  We can all agree on this.  Looking back at the pictures of real FBI agents holding rifles with Geissele MK4 OD Federal rails, there are quite a few items that appear to be 100% consistent.  These items could be considered clone correct or bare minimums to reasonably call the rifle an FBI clone.  That is if you are building around the Green FED rails that really triggered the recent enthusiasm for these builds.

-  11.5" barrel
-  A2 flash hider
-  Geissele gas block
-  Troy BIUS
-  ODG CTR stock
-  Aimpoint T2 or Sig Romeo4

The grips, lasers, lights, and possibly the lowers are the discretionary items.

WML or WMLx.....?  Which one fits better on the rail?  Looks like more of the G men have the shorter WML.

WML should fit better. Inforce beam patterns are on the floody side so I went with the WMLx for a little more oomph.

I really prefer 30MM Aimpoints and already had it on hand.  I may switch to a T2 at some point.  I think the Sig micros are hideous.

I agree on the 30mm Aimpoints. I got a blem PA micro for cheap to see if I like the size of the micros. I do not. I think I will mount it offset on a scoped rifle for shits and gigs.

Hard to argue with this.

I've thought about trying the DD T1 mount instead.  I think it fits.  Pretty much any clone build (MK18, Block 2, etc.) has ugly shit that could be easily improved upon function wise and looks for certain.

Post up some pics of your MK18 wannabe clones in the CQBR thread with what you think looks good "upgrades" and see how that goes..

Nice man!! I was able to score a restricted GB too off of a well known individual on this site. Did you get yours from him too or from Geissele? I want to do a 2nd build but I kind of view the correct parts as mandatory.

As far as I know you two lucky bastards were the only ones who got them. He only had two available... There weren’t a whole bunch of those in the wild... I wish I would’ve jumped on it when I could. You two are going to have the most correct clones in this thread....
