| I have looked on this forum for years. I find a lot of good info here. I am doing my first build and very excited. I wanted a Ruger SR. 762 but evey time I held it in my hands, told myself the is the same price as an all inclusive, week long stay in Jamaica. I then traded a Kimber Warrior in to do an AR build. Then I got to thinking maybe a Savage or Remington 700 in .223 just to try and put one round on top of the other at 100 yards. Then I thought maybe a .260 or a Grendel AR build. I decided to stick with a 223/556. Ordered a White Oaks 18" barrel and can't wait to see how it turns out. |

Now you better start using that credit card and dump the Girlfriend. ![]() Seriously, I have parts for my 308 build coming in today, and I ordered more parts for a 223 SPR build. This hobby is not for the light-wallet'ed. ![]() |

Welcome to ARFCOM. You forgot to ask if he has any legos. Sadly and happily, Boris has rendered Effort Bloomberg irrelevant. If you can cast a plastic lower for $2.50 out of easily available materials, there's no need to glue $100 worth of Legos into a working AR lower. Perhaps soon I'll be asking new members if they have a rubber mold. |
