Have you cloned that for yourself yet?  that PAQ-4C was a better unit than the PEQ-2 in my opinion.

same,

Since I'm budget limited, and I got it through trading up, my black PEQ got a coat of alumahyde just so I could keep up with you Muldoon's, surprised nobody has called me on it when I post up pics.

I never used the PEQ-2.  But we trained out to 300m with those PEQ-4s.  They worked great.

Not sure I'd be a fan of that tape switch ahead of the FSB. Seems kinda burn-y.

The wires and switches are pretty robust when it comes to melting. I've really fucked a few up because they came loose somehow and they all survived. Ugly, but still functional.

Kinda like the scars on my fingers from FSB burns.

Looking for some input on a build in progress:

Would I remain in the block 1.5 criteria with a m600aa and the extended thorntail? I'm curious to see if it makes a huge difference in shadow casting opposed to a 951/952v mounted on the side. I'm sure it will be a bit more ergonomic at least.

The farther forward the lights bezel is, the less shadow from the barrel.  I run a full length thorntail myself, for that reason.

Lemme see what I can dig up.

Yes, I had a 17 on it. It took a big ass screwdriver to pry open and a hammer to close.

I think I had it wedged in between the top and left rail, like how I did with the SF switch. I know it wasn't on the magwell, that's where the Redi-Mag is.

I barely even used mine. Never did any marksmanship training with it, just used it to talk people onto something I'm looking at under nods.

My newest project, was just using the lower on my URG-I.

Then I realized that would be a crime, gonna add a TA31 and a PEQ15.

Still cant decide what this is gonna be

Sounds like you gave uncle sugar his money's worth.

They ain't bad. I'm used to Insight lasers. I am pretty impressed with the Steiner. The output sucks cause its class 1, but its still plenty for ranges I can POS ID under NODs by far

Did SureFire muzzle devices ever show up on B 1.5/ PR M4s? Looking to do a 1.5 build but hate using the extended a2 to get to 16" and would like to have the option to suppress it without changing the muzzle device.

I actually had a lead on one for a while. Wasn't priced too terribly, but it was more than I wanted to dish out for an overbuilt cat toy.

Got it, thank you.

Forgive my newb questions. One more.. when the new block accessories were issued was the old equipment considered obsolete and tossed? For example, would you find a block 2 rifle with block 1 optics or lights, etc., in the wild?
