| I have a little take up when I shoot my trigger has a little travel before let off..doesnt affect function but it does move to the rear about 3/16s before let off and it has 12lb trigger pull...this normal like I said no malfunctions of any kind and I use KNS hammer /trigger pins that dont screw in there oversized though .155 so there snug with no movement. |

If you are going to tap your lower for the trigger travel stop set screw, be gentle as you do it (depending on whose lower you have). I was going to do 2 lowers, but I couldn't stop. I ended up tapping 4-5 and then it happened- the friggan tap broke. Some lowers have more metal left in the pistol grip screw hole (some are threaded all the way already, most are not).
If this happens (don't let it happen to you), you will feel a gut-wrenching feeling. Luckily I emailed Tom (at Spikes) about something else, but asked if he'd seen this happen. Even tho it was my fault, he asked if I could send it to him- jeez, they milled it out for me. And, once set, loktite it- they can work lose. |
