Got the bore guides in today. Big thanks to USMCSGT0331 for offering the original to be recreated, and ringer706 for the time invested into the project. They turned out awesome!

We've tried to get Dewey to run some more but they were completely uninterested.

Your best bet there is chop a longer one down and make/mod in a female insert then paint it black, which has been done in the thread here.

Or get an original but can't help you with that one

If you care about the later flat-side, post 2010 or so housing then no.

Otherwise, some were used on Mod 1s and Mod H.

That is magnificent!  Congrats!  I'm still trying to figure out a foam solution.  Prob going to cut my own this weekend and see how it comes out.  Then I still gotta get a copy of a manual, ballisticards, etc.  I wish there were a good source to have foam made up.  Cobra is garbage and I haven't been able to get a line on any other source.

Congrats again, I bet that feels great to have the kit all set up.

And on another note, mod 1 parts collecting has started.

So, Mod 1s frequently used with NSW 2.5-10x24 RECON NAV-SPECs. There are RECON ARMY-SPEC x24s out there too, and I've posted a pic before of one on an early pattern SPR with the wheel FSB. On the late Mod 0 front we don't have pics of anything but the Leupold 3-9s and one guy that swapped a 3.5-10 from an early SPR. There's also a pic of a Mod 1 with the 3.5-15 Nightforce, no idea if it was an F1 or the Milspec/contract one used on stuff like Mk13s.

Lastly on the Hollands, many years ago a person with good info and access alluded to somewhere in 5th Group Mod Hs having some 2.5-10x24s of the RECON ARMY-SPEC flavor but no photos.

Most recently there was a pic of a 1-8 ATACR or NX8, I can't remember which but it was on a Mod H in a Burris PEPR mount. And even more recently a pic of a Holland with one of the Tanodized 1-8 NFs showed up.

The FDE M110 Mk4s were M2 turrets, so 1/2 MOA all around and came with M118LR BDC turrets.

ATACR

Also, another pic of one with the 14.5 inch URX4 with 1-8x ATACR on a LT-104 mount.

Huge thanks to USMCSGT0331 and to Ringer706 for getting these done and allowing a rare chunk of MK12 history to be mailed about. These things look amazing and are just the right fit for the case/rifle.

Going to visit the can tomorrow and ill post a case picture.

What's the best reference pic of a late mod 0 with a 2.5-8?  I was looking through the gold mine of pics that showed up on SH last year and noticed that one is wearing an illuminated 3-9.  Does a good one exist of a late mod 0 wearing a 2.5-8?

TIA!

@Hunterex

So for late mod 0 is it just TS30 A2 (3-9 illuminated) that's truly kosher?  I remember about 300 pages back folks were catching flack for late mod 0's with 3.5-10x40's, LOL.  Are those 3.5-10's kosher after all, in addition to the TS-30A2 3-9?  Anything else kosher?

Lance answered this question in advance a few posts up.  Basically we've got one pic with a 3.5-10 Vari-X III Tactical stolen from an SPR, and the rest are 3-9s (Commercial or TS30a2 marked  /  62gr M3 turret, illuminated mildot).

2.5-8 makes a fine stand-in.   Lots of optics got swapped around and private purchase stuff made the rounds.  If I still had a Premier FFP 3.5-10 I'd put it on my Gen 3 without a second thought.

Thanks!  Was holding out hope I guess haha.  I think I may have just emailed you that pic you referenced.  Wasn't sure if that's the one but is one I had found that was making me ask about 3.5-10.

Thanks for the info as always.  Guess I'll go 3.5-10 on the mod 0, 2.5-8 on the mod 1, and stick a mark 4 3-9 on the H until someone more correct makes it into my hands.

Just checked and it might be easier to do that anyway.  I have my 3.5-10 in NF rings on the H currently.  The 3-9 is already in ARMS #22M's
