| This is an incomplete question. The decibel's are going to be different between a straight barrel and one with a flash hider and one with a compensator and one with a brake.Decibel's are going to be different between barrel lenghth's and maybe even between barrel diameters. And the sounds are really going to change between ammunition grain loads. [:\] |

My 14.5 Bushmaster shorty AK is load enough to make me drop the rifle to my waist while firing with no hearing protection. I have fired many government colt 20's and noticed a huge 'CRACK'. This was more of a 'BOOM' that tried the mettle of my soul. I would choose this weapon last out of a Glock 19, Remington 870, and XM-15. It is punishingly loud. |
