Anybody know if these are actually still in production? Supply has dried up across the board, I called one vendor and was told these were a 2018 limited run and they didn't except anymore. In the market for a second one for a new build.
Update - I called Colt CS, these are not currently in production with no timeline on when they will, or even if they will be back in production. The 2018 run has ended, they may do a 2019 limited run later this year, but may not be the same as the 2018 run. I guess we will have to wait and see...? |

They will be back in production. All of Colts rifles are produced in runs....they produce one model for a while, switch the line and do another model.

FYI,Back in stock (1) at Grabagun Here

No reason to buy a new barrel. It's all about knowing what you're doing and having the right tools to do it which most people do not have in their garage. ADCO mills these things off the proper way. In your garage with a grinder, dremel, file, is not the proper way. I sent mine in on Monday, had it back on Friday and it was perfect. They cleaned up the threads and I mounted my Surefire so I can use my suppressor with absolutely no issues.

They never had them, it was a boo boo. I called, they fixed it on the website.
Per my post above, these ARE NOT in production currently. Maybe someone else can call and get some different or updated information. |

These are still being produced. They are a standard catalog item for 2019. Buds currently has them in stock.

Other than Classic, I've never heard of any of the places on the list above Grabagun. Anyone have a recommendation? View Quote None of these shops actually have stock on hand, these are all likely pointing to RSR's warehouse inventory. Personally I would pick the lowest price/lowest shipping and go for it. Tempted to buy another one because of E forms, this time for the lower and sell the upper and use it on a mk18 clone. |

Just picked one up today. My observations:
13629 Cage code on the barrel, upper and on the buttstock. Keyhole forge mark on upper. No forge mark on lower like my other Colts. Sticker residue on upper for whatever reason. Bolt is MPC marked. Also has inspection "white paint dot" as well. No "C" or anything that I can find on bolt carrier. No more "F" (which I heard Colt got rid of) on FSB. F4 Colt pistol grip 03/18 made barrel. Large "R" stamped on barrel. I forget what that means. Manual, 1 small KAC rail panel, KAC vert grip, 1 mag, in the goodie bag. |
|
Picked up one today myself.
'C' stamped keyhole upper unmarked BCG with MPC bolt, no white paint dot 01/18 barrel with CAGE code, stock with CAGE code Non-F FSB. I bought this one for the lower and am parting out the upper, but if these stay regular production, I will likely pick up a second to leave as-is. |

View Quote Honestly, I don’t really see the value in paying a premium for an engraved lower if you are going to use one for clone purposes. You might as well buy an 80% and have it engraved yourself. |
